Good core stability will improve posture, optimise sporting performance and promote injury prevention.  A strong core will keep your musculoskeletal system in the best position to function at its most effective and efficient, whatever your activity.

Courses are suitable for all ages and abilities, and consist of a weekly hour long session over six weeks.  The cost of the course includes an initial basic assessment and a home exercise programme specific to your needs and goals.  For more information contact Jo Racle or phone 07808 930243.

"It is a bizarre experience; hard work but fun.  I feel much stronger and I’m hitting a golf ball much further."
Mr S.T., Hale

" This is a great class for flattening and toning the underlying stomach muscles and has really helped me with running.  It’s a tough but fun class, it’s great for me as I need Jo to “boss” me into doing exercises, as left to my own devices I would never do them!"
Mrs H.M.

" Thanks Jo for the core classes!  On my third set of six sessions, I can definitely say that my tennis has improved and I feel stronger running too.  I think that it also helps that the classes are not full of brilliant athletes with perfect bodies, but mostly people just like me who are trying to be fit and prevent injury so we can generally enjoy sport in our lives."
Abi Parker

" I was recommended Jo’s classes by the physiotherapist who treated me for a slipped disc.  The classes are fun, effective and a far cry from the horrors of lycra clad gym bunnies, doing eternal sit ups with perma tans and perfect six packs.  As we all know it’s the deeper muscles that count, and Jo certainly works those, but at the pace of the individual with exercises adjusted to suit the individual.  Thoroughly recommended."
Mrs G.T.

" There is great value in attending a class run by a qualified Physio.  Jo ensures every position and posture is safe for the individual and perfect for optimum effectiveness, and the small corrections she makes make a big difference.  The class is challenging and fun, and Jo’s sharp wit keeps you laughing.  Thank you very much Jo!"

" Generally with my posture and fitness, I do feel there has been a clear improvement but more specifically with my golf swing which has been transformed since “switching on”.  Also my Thursday night football performance has changed with far less “Hidden Sniper Incidents” where I would fall over for no reason causing injury mainly to others.  I have felt my balance and stability improve dramatically."
Mr G.T.

" I am a complete convert.  The benefits of improved core stability lead to the understanding that it is not just something that you do for an hour a week, but that projects into your daily life whether through your awareness of how you are sitting at the office desk to improved skiing, running, cycling, tennis etc."
Mr R.P.

" Jo Racle ’s classes are a brilliant mix of stretching and core strength work – perfect for post natal tummies!  Jo is such a lovely person and the classes such fun, it’s a pleasure to attend."
Mrs C.B.

I have attended Jo’s core stability classes on and off over the last two years.  They make a noticeable difference to my fitness and coordination, whilst significantly reducing recurring back pain.  They change the way you think about how to keep fit and are also good fun and entertaining."
Mr D.B.

" I genuinely look forward to my core class!  Jo couldn’t do more to encourage and give advice.  Having suffered lower back problems for years the classes have improved my overall strength and mean I can play tennis (which is what I would rather be doing!) without getting back ache from too much serving.  The good humoured banter gets us through the class and now I can kneel on my exercise ball unsupported – I am just working on being able to chat at the same time!"
